Only because he swaps teams for wins and to ride the coat tails of skilled players. He's quite horrible statistically.
We'll probably consider unbanning him after we update some code so we can exclude him from all "top X" lists and rankings.
You definitely know the filters and know better than to mess with them.
suddenVmbra also got punished for baiting.
Temp ban expires in 5 days. You definitely need to learn to follow the rules...you've built up quite a log of admin punishes and automatic punishes and aren't far from a perm ban...
Sorry, you lost the ability to get answers from me when you started acting like a child throwing a temper tantrum and got borderline racist in this thread. The only one digging a hole here is you.
I'll happily respond to everyone else's questions when I get a chance to answer them thoroughly...
From MULTIbalancer docs:
Players on the list are divided evenly between teams. It doesn't scramble those players specifically at the end/beginning of matches if they're already evenly split.
For example, if you have 5 MVP one one side and 5 BSS on the other - that's fine. If you have 2 MVP...
So has anyone actually read my posts on how this works or are we all just making assumptions here? This is not intended to keep people from playing with their friends, nor should it do so after the list grows more and things smooth out.
It simply works from a list of players and keeps them...
The kick doesn't happen immediately otherwise tons of people would get kicked all the time for brief spikes. It takes like 3-5 mins worth of averages before they get the boot.
There are no bZ people that play consistently enough right now at the same time for it to matter.
It's not punishment. Someone has got to get moved for balance. That's just how it is.
Half the time it's blueberries repping me, and I'm always in the middle of the fight not sitting back...
Blindsided by what? Balance adjustments? This is not some form of punishment, it's just adjustments to the balancer which are always a work in progress because no one is ever happy with the balance. Just like all other balancer adjustments, maybe it works and maybe it doesn't. Won't know...
The list is growing and bz1 is the testbed for this. If it works we'll do it to players that stack (intentionally or not) on other servers too (and continue to grow the list on bz1). If it's statistically pointless we'll undo it all.
It's supposed to have been this way for a long time but the system wasn't working and I finally got around to fixing it.
Many players that consistently play and stack up and wildly unbalance the teams have to be forcibly split because most of them have VIP so the balancer never splits them, and...
Should be fixed now. You weren't directly banned and it's clear that the account linked to you resulting in your kick (because it is banned) is in fact someone else.
