Beerus, you're an idiot

What constitutes that border?

It shows on your map and will give the out of bounds countdown warning...... In this map it's close to the road that heads north towards A/B flags. You can literally run to the closest two tanks and drive them out it's that shallow. So, yes, Middle was outside of his uncap and wasn't even attacked. Beerus wasn't even heading towards him when he was shot.

REALLY? Where's the uncap line shown on my map? I'll wait.

Oh, so there IS a way to determine what constitutes uncap (when the countdown timer starts)?

Maybe that should be the line of scrimmage. Why that's so hard to admit?

Instead we have to talk about "near" uncap and "just outside" of uncap and every other squishy manner of defining uncap.

Seems pretty clear to me. What do you think?

It shows uncap as blacked out like out of bounds on your map lol. If you cross it, it will give the countdown warning. Like I said, this isn't an equatable situation to the mining/c4 uncap posts. There wasn't even an attack. By the way, I think the grey area is stupid. It should be either all or nothing. Black and white. No shooting from or into uncap, OR everyone is fair game everywhere. Period.

Oh, so we can OBJECTIVELY define uncap? (When the countdown timer is running, you're in uncap, when it's not running, you're outside of uncap.)

No shooting from uncap you say? I agree, that would be equitable. That's not what the rules say.

So I have this straight, you're saying you don't think the rules are "fair." Interesting.

The uncap boundaries are defined. I hate the uncap rules on this server, but the founders made them because they like to play from uncap. Due to the rules, it inherently has grey areas that aren't defined in the actual rules, but are left to the judgment of an admin on any given day, which I would agree is "unfair".

Well said. Really is silly how the admins are legitimizing camping in uncap. The rule really should be to not base rape, if you repeatedly farm the uncap and have a significant percentage of spawn kills then maybe something should be done but not punishing someone off a single kill.

But defining the rule like that can also be ambiguous so I guess that's why the way it is? Either way placing mines outside of uncap is functionally equivalent to shooting someone exactly as they leave uncap (which is allowed), not sure why there has to be a gray area to that

The nuance is that if mines are placed just outside the uncap, the vehicle must shoot them from the uncap to exit, immediately making him fair game for the rest of the enemies. If we're talking about a mine or two it doesn't change anything since the vehicle was going to come out anyway, but if there are a bunch of them, the vehicle will have to fire several times. Which makes him even more vulnerable to being attacked in the uncap.

There may be other reasons why this buffer zone exists, but this is the one that comes to mind.

Oh no! Someone's being tactical! Arrest him!

The mines, in this case, are "just outside the uncap" (your own words, not mine). Allowed.

The guy in the armor (or other vehicle) has to PAY ATTENTION. That's a legitimate tactic. You don't like it. Boo fucking hoo.

You're arguing for behavior in the game to be regulated. I thought we said we were not going to do that.
