Which server were you on? BZ- All Maps- Hardcore
Describe the incident I've been in the server a lot and report people not following the rules and follow the rules myself because I respect and agree with them. I was a victim of admin abuse twice this week by BZ Slash and the first incident I let slide because he was drunk and I could relate to his frustration and it seemed like an honest mistake so I just ended the conversation with sorry and moved on after informing him I was punished for something I didn’t do. I knew he was drunk because I played on his squad the next round and he had no problem with my game play when I was on his team, only when I was on the other team killing him. Admins shouldn’t be biased and only punish the enemy team or be malignant and punish people because they got killed, that is exactly like griefing but to the enemy instead. The first incident happened on Rouge Transmission where my team controlled every point and people on my team kept getting warned for breaking the rules and firing into the enemy spawn. I was in a tank and saw another tank had just left its spawn on the map so I fired an AP shell at it and it died in one hit. Other players had been lasing the tank but I used the map to find him in bounds. When I was punished it was for firing into enemy spawn so I let Slash know he had left spawn and then he tells me it was for lasing him in spawn which I informed him I also didn’t do, it was just me in the tank, no gunner. So then the problem was that I used a guided shell, which I also informed him I did not use. I understand it seems like a simple mistake because other players on the team were not following the rules and it is frustrating, however, the second incident was a blatant abuse of admin privileges and there were at least 3 other BZ members there that did not step in and say hey he’s following the rules leave him alone. The second incident was on Hammerhead where I was punished for looking into the spawn. I was in a jet on the US team, flying high looking for the enemy jet to leave. Usually it takes a couple seconds to turn my jet in their direction but even when I’m lucky and they are already lined up pretty well, I let the enemy jet past the D point on the map every single time and was fair game to shoot. The jets always had a chance to stay in spawn, turn themselves to face me at a much higher altitude, and attack with the advantage of being able to shoot first. I did not break any rules listed and I again informed him of his mistake, I may have been angry and snappy but I voiced my concern respectfully and wanted answers. You cannot punish people for killing you in a legal way and if looking at the enemy spawn is against the rules, it should be posted on the rules (it would be one hell of a hard rule to enforce). I don’t want Slash to be punished or lose admin privileges, there was a few guys dropping the N word for an hour and it was helpful when Slash came in and muted/kicked them. I just want the points removed from my record and for someone to tell him to stop punishing me for playing fairly. There are 5 of us that use teamspeak and we’ve been playing together for over a year so more often than not, we work well together and destroy the other team. The match started out where BZ was destroying us by lasing everything in sight and killing and I liked the challenge, but not long after we started taking out the ground vehicles and taking the lead I get punished and it was blatantly obvious it was due to frustration from starting to lose rather than any rules being broken. When I said do you want this server to be full of noobs or do you want a challenge, I was muted for the round. I meant no disrespect to BZ with this comment, I was simply challenging the abuse of power by implying that if you punish or ban people for beating you legitimately, you will only be left with people that you are able to beat and do not challenge yourself. Thank you for your time.
