If you have anything to do with AT&T , They have AT&T Internet Security Suite–powered by McAfee® for free. This is my primary line of defense, works awesome.

Dude, I use Avast and love it. Small and to the point. I download lots of questionable stuff too and never had a virus. Maybe there is better, but I'm happy and a fan.

I use both Avast and AVG and both have run great. I don't think i've ever had a virus and I download HUGE amounts of really horrible horrible shit
