Quick question - sometimes while waiting for chopper re-spawn I'll play a mini-game as infantry and when the chopper's about to re-spawn I'll re-deploy if I'm far away from base. Is this acceptable or will it result in any kind of punishment?

Your team loses 1 ticket, that's it. It's worth it if you can help capture or defend a flag, or if you can take out a high value target.
No punishment for redeploying, all that happens is that it counts as a death. If you buy VIP you can use the command /killme - commit suicide without logging a death.

Clarification: Your team loses a ticket whenever any dead teammate respawns. Not when you die (redeploy). So the outcome is the same. At the end your team loses one ticket when you respawn.
Yeah, I was just wondering if the BZ servers punished you after a certain amount of re-deploys so being unsure I wouldn't do it regularly but didn't see anything in the rules about it. Thanks for the replies.
