He's cuttin' those corners pretty clean. I'm not seeing anything that jumps out at me as hacking. Just really good gameplay. Not great, but really good.

I concur.  Based on his movements and reactions, it looks like he's using sound to his advantage.  I didn't see anything sketchy in that.
