Rulez Question

another question! If you ban someone does it start the day that that the ban on this forum is stated or does it start when they next try to log on. Weird question I know but like a 3 day ban on sunday for some ppl wouldnt matter if they only play on the weekend. Ive been told its both at different times.

got 2 points for talking about old honkey barrel.....and motherfucker even talking about ritz crackers will get you popped......cant even be a saltine bitch.....hehe

@beerus

I dont have it recorded but I legitimately thought you were firing at me, I was getting lazed and taking rockets from right where you were so I fired. lots of time scout helis will hide right next to spawn and laze me when im near E so thats what I thought was happening. I think it was a dude in the field below you though. I did apologize so I hope you saw that :(

Don't know what's the better option, if to necro a thread or open a new one.
Anyway, I have a question directed to the admins.
Never seen it myself but I've seen other players complaining about it.
People who, at the start of the match, hop on an airplane or attack helicopter and use it to get faster at a specific flag, or to get at a tall camping spot: are they breaking any server rules here?

Humble opinion: No. I’m not an admin… just throwing my thoughts into this pile of crusty nuggets.

Might be annoying, but not breaking any of the /rules.

I too am not an admin. While I think it is incredibly douchey it's not griefing. It is possible that the sniper who parachutes down onto a roof or some other spot could actually contribute significantly to his team. For example, a sniper may be able to get to a very nice spot to laze targets on the crane on Gulf of Oman and significantly hindering the enemy's ability to use vehicles. A well-placed beacon could also prove to be a boon to his team by providing a spawn point for his squad to continuously contest a flag.

Furthermore while most snipers and other players who take jets to camp are trash and suck at the game they are not necessarily deliberately trying to harm their team by their actions. On the other hand someone who takes a jet and keeps immediately ramming it into the ground or sits in it and refuses to move, or someone who takes a vehicle out of bounds to destroy it is definitely griefing because those actions demonstrate intent to disrupt and/or harm their team.

Players have since the inception of the game used aircraft as taxis.
Annoying yes, against the rules no.

Nope. Not at all. I do it all the time BUT I usually get in some licks with the aircraft and then I bail after taking damage.

Exception is when I am racing to capture the only AA on a given map. Then I'm all in on the objective.

Yeah you'll always get a douche who won't get out. I think a couple of those guys are "Dad_E_RaZz" who likes to be a douche troll and not get out, then come cry on here.. I think it's common courtesy to get out and let someones gunner hop in. 95% they get out for me, 5% they don't so we ask them for a min to get out and if they continue to be an ass, we just drive off with them.. Sad part is, once tank gets hit, they jump out and run away.. When someone asks me to get out for their buddy, I do, its no biggy.. Game is way better with mics.. Sucks to fly chopper with no mics.

At the end of the day, don't be that guy, just have fun with your friends and be respectful to other players.
Cool story bro, too bad its a fictional one cause I am rarely in a tank, I also never have recalled being in a tank with you. If I am in a Tank/APC it is usually with a friend that I have comm's with.

"When someone asks me to get out for their buddy, I do, its no biggy.." Funny, I do the same all the time, I even have others that will backup my claim.

Do you have anybody or video to backup your accusation? I am a betting man and I will say NO.

So with all due respect which is at a very low level, get fucked.
