What is that? Guy has reports - half of them are probably from morons diving in front of the LAV or tank like some homeless peice of shit in california to collect disability. OBVIOUSLY its to collect TKs for reports to get him kicked for yeeting their asses round after round. Get fucking smart. Yet another overreaction from a cut/pasted smear video that has been weighted with more importance than how many? 5+ years of server reputation? How many more times will you be baited by someone with no history here with some bullshit cut/paste clip? How long have you been doing this?

I never tried to TK him. You and your friends are making up such silly lies about things that are easily disproven.

I was playing with other people on discord and he was TKing them too, I was just the one who thought to record it.
He broke the server rules again and again for months, the admins made the right call to get that toxicity off their servers.
 
@ohthehumanity, baited? Did you see his appeal? He even said in his appeal that he did tk'ing bc @OKNewPlan do not leave the base.
Tbgclaneatass also plays on the AARP server and there you can't shoot from the base, but in bZ you can. He thinks the rules are the same in bZ.
 
I can vouch for OkNewPlan on this one, I was there and saw it all happen. I have also personally been tked by this guy on more than one occasion (and reported him) countless times, seems like whenever people aren't playing the game the way he would like them to he goes on a tk rampage for whatever reason.
 
Not that my opinion matters, but the guy has played here a long time. I hope that he can appeal in the future at least after a fair vacation. IMO I don’t think purging the die hards is a key to longevity at this point in the game. I respect the admins decision as it is the rules, but hopefully in the future something can be worked out for TBG.

I will say, in my experience, the last 2 weeks we have had a lot of toxicity on the server as far as tks, vehicles thief’s, and uncap attackers/soflammers. I do personally record the bad ones and report them, I let a few slide unless they are repeat offenders, I don’t want to be a Karen. However, the past few days, due to this uptick in autism I have struggled a bit to maintain my cool, and have found myself killing the vehicles thief’s (only when they take my vehicle) and killing the trolls after I watch them tk my squad mates. Perhaps he just lost his cool, nobody is perfect. I would never want to be perm banned from bZ , so I hope TBG that you are able to figure this out with the Banzore admins at some point in the future.
 
there is nothing wrong with what happened here based on actual, typical gameplay on BZ. that video shows nothing of substance. 3 tk's across several maps? at 480p and 5fps? 4 hours of gameplay? how do you know that Discord squad wasn't provoking him?

give him a week or a two if you think there is malice but perm is poor judgement.
 
Look I get it, guy was a regular, but you really feel that letting someone just do whatever the hell they want because they have some clout is the way to go? He wasn't perm banned based on this one instance on its own, and frankly I am surprised the dude didn't get the boot sooner. I am perfectly aware not everyone will be happy with the choice made, but this isn't the first, nor will it be the last time we tell someone (Whether its a member, a regular, a popular streamer) to take a hike because they feel like they can do whatever the hell they want.

Can't make everyone happy, but I am more than happy to get rid of nuisance players, regardless of their status.

I'm not sure what the facts are but it was a shocker to see TBGClanEatsass get banned after playing with him for years. However it doesn't mean long time players and even loyal BZ players won't violate the rules and I've seen it happen from people I would never suspect.

We are playing on someone's private server that is open for us and not an EA server.

this is the crux of the matter. I am not defending him because hes my "friend." i'm defending him in light of the the disproportionate response he got for what otherwise happens with other regulars all the time. i should start a new thread with a running list of all the little shit that is technically a rule violation but is in the name of balance and fun. jet rams = griefing, right Fluff? we probably don't want to compile the list of jet rams by frequency though, there won't be anyone left to play. how many admins on that list? uhhhh right lets not make that list.

AND - i would do the same for any other regular - and have before as topher and salsa may remember. like yeet said, I have known the guy as a competitor and teammate/squadmate for easily 5 years yet never once chatted with him. i have been on the other side of this exact situation as well. again, temp ban? absolutely. perm ban? completely ridiculous, disproportionate and unfair in terms of common gameplay on BZ

Jet ramming friendlies is the worst kind of griefing. Jet ramming an enemy you can't possibly terminate by traditional means is just a necessary solution.

Humanity, I report every offense I witness because so few others bother. Then it turns out they have 150 ingame reports. Well, fuck em.

They made their own beds. Eventually they have to lie in it.

The urge to teamkill useless twats is close to getting me, pretty much every game. I still resist it. I play less now in part because of people still refusing to play the objective. That's my solution.

And the state that bZ1 is in right now where it's usually 5 - 10 skilled regulars just going 800 - 0 every map is another part of why I don't play. Fun competitive games is what I like.

He's welcome to appeal like everyone else. His constant report wars for stupid things is incredibly annoying too.
 
what do you think that screenshot shows, neo? it looks like you think its some kind of basis for support of your previous statement.

to me, it looks like he is reporting people griefing him in good faith. it also looks like the time elapsed on that is over 60 days? and you're.. punishing him for using the !report system?
