I started up my Bad Company2 It works, same rank. Logged into EA When the game came out I couldn't really play it lagged. Now with this pc, the game is awesome. It was ahead of its time.
Anyway I have about every battlefield,BF2 is my fav Steam game CS every game so if any of ya`ll wanna jump off on any of them let me know

I still play HC TDM on BC2 from time to time. It's simply a fantastic game and like you said, ahead of its time.

It has the best positional audio of ANY game. You can tell exactly when people are above you, below you, or around you. The fact a basically ten year old game absolutely destroys a supposed modern AAA title like Warzone for audio is absolutely pathetic. No fps game has positional audio as good as BC2.

I bought a Blu-ray burner about five years ago. Still haven't burned any Blu-rays.

I think it still works... but I don't have my BF 1942 disc(s?) anymore.

BF:BC2 I do have though. That's the game that got me off Counter-Strike. Still has more destruction than you're likely to find in modern BF games!
 
I have 1942 on origin but haven't touched it since dec 2015 lol, and less than an hour play time :p

BF2 is what got me away from CS CZ, BC got me away from BF2, 2142 loved it
 
Bad Company 2 was ahead of its time with the gameplay and maps. It’s great to hear it’s running smoothly for you now! BF2 is also one of my favorites – the classic maps and teamwork were unbeatable. If you ever want to jump into a game or squad up for BF2 or any other Battlefield, hit me up!
 
I get what you mean about BFBC2 – it’s one of those games that takes you back. The maps, the vehicles, and just the overall feel of the game make it stand out, even with all the new shooters out there.

If you're missing something similar, it might be worth checking out some cool skins or weapons from the market. I was recently browsing some stuff, and if you’re into sniping, you might want to check out some AWP skins on this site: https://skin.land/ . They’ve got some great options that might just make you feel more connected to the game again. I know it’s not quite the same, but good skin can make things feel fresh!
 
Hahahah the start of it all, 1942.
One of the best videos ever released was the wing walkers of 1942 or something like that, shortly after that game went gold.
Would love to fire up some 1942

I miss the BF2, and the mods for it.
