Clarification

Uh, oh. We have someone with a mind to reason. (Be careful Longtime, you might be called a troublemaker.)

In fact, unless you're aware of precisely where that happens (the out-of-bounds counterdown starts for the enemy players), YOU don't really know when you leave YOUR uncap. But the other team KNOWS when they're out-of-bounds (their screen is obscured and the countdown timer starts).

If you argue that you THINK you were not yet out of uncap with someone who KNOWS if they're in uncap or not, you better be sure what you're talking about.
Well, you clearly must be stupid.. I've never had one issue with uncap, nor any reports against me in all these years.. So, yes it's common sense. If you don't know it by now, maybe play elsewhere!

I might be stupid. That matter has never been officially settled.

That being said, we're not discussing your personal experience with this rule. We're interested in understanding an objective, unambiguous method for defining where uncap starts and stops. And you can't tell us that's not important. Every day in every match there's an argument over whether or not some action was in compliance with the rules pertaining to uncap.

Like I said earlier, the problem is that "uncap" is undefined. No amount of bitching about me is going to fix that.

If you'd like to share what you believe is the definition of uncap, we're all ears.

Ha, glad I made my point, you must be on the spectrum. Enough about your stupidity. Maybe go on every map, and walk to the uncap and once you see the timer, you know you're in uncap.. Do I need to hold your hand as well?

Oh, so uncap starts and stops where the enemy player is presented the out-of-bounds timer? Very well, I agree.

Well, surprise, that's not what the admins say. They say uncap extends out some undefined distance from where the timer would start and that area is ALSO considered uncap.

Your problem's not with me. You have a problem with the admins. You should take it up with them.

Glad to help.

Question: Have you read the thread from the beginning?

I don't seem to have an issue with uncap, tho.. I don't need 100 threads like this to explain common sense.. I don't have an issue with the rules here nor any bZ admins.. And I say this because every admin can contest i'm an asshole, which I agree. But we find mutual grounds and get along as i don't break rules.

I'll make it even easier for you bunny, don't shoot into spawn and you won't have to worry about anything. See, simple fix to stupidity :)

That's not what we're discussing.

I suggest you read the thread. You start at the beginning and when you get to the end... stop.

(BTW, I think you mean 'attest', not 'contest'. Those words are antonyms. The prefix "a" means not, "con" means with. One is not tested, there other is with testing.)

Rules are a set of logic.

Logic starts with the Law of Identity.

It is not absurd to request identification when rules are concerned.

That is what Bunny is saying.

Guys, for fuck's sake, study some higher level maths.

haha now you know how much i care :) sorry, gotta head out so I never re-read what i write.. I mean we have 100 threads on this, you would think people would read and understand. And although I agree with Sabre, in order for logic to be applied, rules need to be sought out and every inch covered. I understand that some people need more hand holding than others, sadly the world we live in. I can't seem to grasp why such a handful doesn't understand rules or uncap, or why not to place mines on the line of uncap, this isn't rocket science folks, I took it. At the end of the day, fuck it.. Can only beat a dead horse so many times..

ithinkimabunny, personally, it doesn't bother me that the terrain is full of mines everywhere, but I follow the rules (or their general idea), I try to assess the distance to be respected from the enemy base and when in doubt, I refrain from playing in that place of the map.

I know that unless you play a map regularly, it's not obvious where exactly the uncap ends. Well we all agree that the out-of-bounds counterdown is the basic reference, but the margin defined by the admins is another story. There are maps where the enemy base is really close to a flag or completely out in the open. I'm thinking about Sunken Dragon and another map in the jungle that I forgot the name. In the jungle I came close to attacking the enemy base, because I didn't know that was it. I realized it in time, but afterwards I didn't know the margin to respect, so I went and played in another zone of the map.

I had read the entire topic of more than 9 pages and I understand your arguments very well. But honestly I wonder how administrators could clearly document/defined exactly the, let's call it uncap margins, to be respected for each map and each path. It's unreasonable to ask that. What do you propose exactly? Do you propose then to eliminate the margin and rely solely on the out-of-bounds counterdown? If you propose that and the administrators refuse, I don't see why you insist. It's their servers after all. We are not talking here about a huge legal system with judges, lawyers and books on the law. It's just servers of a game and the rules established are there to make the gaming experience more enjoyable for everyone and prevent players from doing nasty stuff. It's not perfect but generally it works well, except for those players who push the limits. Well, I already see you writing that it would be good to know the limits so as not to exceed them, but hey, the subject has already been debated.

Have a nice day!

I read 'have a nice day' at the end; skipped the rest. you will be hearing from my lawyers.

If you spawn in the uncap and don't move then you can be most assured that you are in the uncap.

If you spawn on a carrier you are 100% in the uncap.

Swag, can you guys implement a Battle Royale mode into your servers? If you die just once, you are perma-banned. Winner gets 2 months of coupons to Red Lobster.
When it gets down to just 8 players left(min to start the match), it should be on zavod braveyard shit map. it will end all this madness.
