Tax revenue in California this past January was down FIFTY PERCENT from January 2022!

Can't imagine why so many businesses, workers, and wealthy people have fled the Worker's Paradise™

My guess: related to Silicon Valley posting massive losses for once and the subsequent layoffs of shitloads of overpaid tech bros. Would also be interesting to see if any new tax loop-hole legislation was passed in the previous year to benefit the socialized corporate America. Tax revenue down doesn't necessarily mean people are leaving - they could have simply been made homeless and jobless post-lockdown and post-inflation.

If California were a sovereign nation (2022), it would rank in terms of nominal GDP as the world's fifth largest economy, behind Germany and ahead of India.

California isn't going to miss these people.

See ya' fuckers! Don't let the door hit ya' where the California Sun don't shine!!!
