And that had disappeared from this game for the most part a few year ago.

Even Fluff would be able to see that it's just some idiot putting AT mines on his own ATV. I'm pretty sure that it works sometimes if you go slow and/or don't drive into things or near team mates. The video brought me great joy though, so thank you for recording it all the same.

your the fk idiot dude, in 6000 hours the only players i saw exploding themselves in spawn are team greifers not normal players, who the fuck is he gonna kill with at mines on his quad bike your retarded dumb fuck

go back to your helicopter its the only thing ur good at (a one trick pony) your just another one of those clowns who cant shut up

he's responsible for what he's doing in spawn whit explosives and should have been punished but they assumed it was unintentional because he's never been reported

don't care and wont cry about it, il know for next time that this is totally ''normal''

I don't know if in hardcore the mines can stay on the quad, but in softcore putting both slams and mines on a quad is a pretty efficient way to destroy tanks. I tried it few times and it's funny. The tank may kill you on the quad without destroying it, the quad continue it's journey and hit the tank, then boom! No more tank.

maybe, but if someone wants to c4 himself that's fine don't need to team damage me his plan was doomed to fail from the start and regardless if it was intentional or not it was dumb behavior that resulted me getting damaged from the beginning of the round

Perhaps the player wanted to do jihad jeep activities and forgot that they were playing Engineer. Obviously they have to make some compromises as Engineers, so they'll use the next best thing which would be the M15 mines or M2 SLAMs. Clearly the normal mines don't work as you saw, but it was an attempt at trying to achieve their goal.

We didn't take action on this because of the fact that the player had just freshly spawned like everyone else, and was minding his own business. It was the start of the round, and the player was driving AWAY from you. Had you not been on his ass, you wouldn't have taken any collateral damage from their failed attempt at jihad jeeping someone. They clearly had no intentions of griefing any teammates.

If we punished everyone simply for their stupidity and the dumb things that might occur, that'll just kill off a majority of the server population.

lol yeah I once went 0-50 for c4'ing myself in spawn (along with a few friends) because the map sucked and we wanted to end. We all went 0 and some 50 deaths and somehow our team still won LOL sometimes stupidity works? hahahaha
